Today's project is a vintage box made with our Glitter Cardstock. It would make for a great gift or decoration piece! Follow these simple steps to create your own:
You will need:
Materials
Best
Creation Glitter Cardstock GCS030 (1)
Design
Paper for your decoration
Fabric
Glue
Optional - Best Creation Strong Tape (double-sided redline tape)
Tools
Ruler
Bone
folder
Rotary Trimmer 17”
Let's get started!
Step 1 Cut the Glitter Cardstock Paper GCS030 (11” x 4 ¾” ) |
Step
3 Using the leftover piece from step 1 of the Glitter Cardstock Paper GCS030, cut 2 pieces (4 ¾” x 4 ½”) and 1 piece (4 ¾” x 2 1/16” |
Step 4 Using fabric glue, paste the back of each of
the three pieces to the back of the original piece (so you can have 2 glitter sides) with the pieces
corresponding to the scored sections.

Step
5 For the inside of the box, cut your design paper (8” x 8” ) |
Step 6 Score the layer using a bone folder. (Refer to
the graphic = score at 2” from each corner).

Step 7 Cut the 4 corners to form flaps, like the graphic.

Step 8 To form the box, apply double sided tape or
glue to the end tabs and glue the sides together.

Step
9 Using fabric glue or double-sided redline tape, paste the base of the box
to one of
the 4 ½” x 4 ¾” Glitter Cardstock sections, as shown in the photo.

Step 10 Decorate as you wish!
